played this course Feb 07, well presented and well laid out some very nice holes although quite repetitive and the 2 holes over the road seem to be just an add on. Very flat, I would go back, but not for a while

Absolutely gorgeous - great value for a post-5pm round; played twice this week and cut 8 shots from my score on the second time round. (91 becomes 83)
All the par threes are superb, made par on all of them. Next time though, I might be tempted to go straight to the 18th and sit there fishing for the carp, which won't have seen a maggot - yet! 17th hole a real test of nerve.
£15 for a round - brilliant value - better than Kilnwick Percy by a long chalk!
Even the perpetual string of 400 yard par fours is interesting, but the rough isn't! Wayward shots need praying about!
Go play this one - it's fabulous!

I played this course in july 04, it is a jem of a course. A challenge to every standard of golfer. If in the york area don't miss this course it will be one of the best course's you've ever played.
