Hanover Golf Club Player Reports

It should be noted that the course has changed hands and is now known as LORDS Golf & Country Club. A great deal of investment is now being ploughed into the business. With both the clubhouse and course enjoying a well deserved makeover. The clubhouse is very comfortable and hositable for that all important after game self analyisis, destruction!
Lords plays well particularly during the summer months with a number of testing holes and water coming into play. It is highly recommended for both the high handicappers and serious low handicappers alike. There are some very nice views overt the coutryside on the higher points of the course. Which is as much an enjoyable part of the day as the golf itself.
Well worth playing.

i HAVE RECENTLY PLAYED AT WHAT IS NOW lORDS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB - FORMALLY HANOVER AND FOUND IT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE DAYS OUT THAT I HAVE HAD IN ESSEX.
THE COURSE IS UNDERGOING MANY IMPROVEMENTS AND THERE IS OBVISOULY A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY BEING SPENT ON BOTH THE COURSES AND THE CLUB. THERE IS A PROMISE OF A NEW 5* RESTAURANT AND A FUNCTION SUITE THAT WILL BE SECOND TO NONE IN THE SOUTH-EAST. THE STAFF ARE ALL FRIENDLY AND COURTOUS. THE FOOD IS SUPERB AND A CREDIT TO THE NEW OWNERS. I AM GOING TO BE TAKING A SOCIETY OF 50 GOLFERS TO PLAY IN THE SPRING AND WE ARE ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO AN ENJOYABLE DAYS GOLF FOLLOWED BY GOURMET DINNER. CANT WAIT TO SEE THE FINISHED CLUB HOUSE/PRO SHOP AND OTHER FACILITIES
