Great course tricky driving holes especially hole.8 as theres trees leaning over and big bushes and trees just of the fairway also a tricky green. Nice course good price and a great hole 19.

Nice little course just outside York and another worth playing, particularly on 241. Some short holes off the yellows which overall appears to make the course a little short but there are some good par 5s and decent par 3s which push it tyo over 6100 of the yellos. Whilst it is quite open and flat it appears to be well looked after and if you are looking for a couple of good vfm course to play whilst in the area this coupled with Pike Hills during the week foot the bill. Better challenges come at Fulford, York and Easingwold but also attract a higher green fee.

Played April 2005, everything about this course from the moment you arrive is outstanding, there are some relative easy holes but most are very challenging, especially into a head wind.
This is a must for anyone staying in York on a short break, we paid £20 on a Tuesday wich is extremley excellent value, only thing I can't comment on was the clubhouse because had to leave straight after the game.
