Location/Description:
One of the Ten Best Golf Courses in the UK - The Independent 20th July 2006.
This is a fabulous Donald Steel designed Course, located in the most picturesque Lanacashire Countryside.
Par 72 - SSS 70 - 18 Holes - 6151 Yards.
The first round was played at Beacon Park Golf & Country Clubin the summer of 1982 when the course was opened, by Sir Michael Bonallack and Donald Steel himself.
Over the last 24 years the course has achieved a degree of maturity with excellent greens and striped tree lined fairways.
In addition to the Course itself, there is a 20 bay Floodlit Driving Range and a Club House and Brasserie Restaurant facility the quality of which raises many an eyebrow.
Leather furniture, ambient decor and superb cuisine only serve to complete the package.
