Accrington is proper golf....played on a course that is entirely un-manufactured, using the natural features of the terrain to full effect.
The course was in A1 condition (May 2004) beautiful fairways (so I believe) and perfect fast greens. Not to mention some great panoramic views.
Everything about the club is first class, from the warm personal welcome to the pint afterwards, nothing was too much trouble, making Accrington an ideal venue for a Society or any visitor.
With a sensible green fee it is too good to miss and you are assured of a friendly welcome in these parts.....try it for yourself and see.
