Dont be deceived by the apparent lack of length on the scorecard. Ashord is a good test of golf with accurate approach shots required to hit the well protected greens. I have played the course on several occassions over the years & no matter what time of year you play, the course is always in good shape. It is a very attractive course & only slightly let down by the drone of traffic pasing nearby on the M2.This is a very good Society course for all h/c's & has a very friendly welcome from the Secretary & staff once you have finished your game. Well worth a visit. (sjh-h/c 13)
