Bacup is a hidden gem to test all golfing ability! With a hill start on the first tee it opens up to give great views of the Rossendale valley. The par 5 4th with out of bounds on both sides of the fairway from the tee, requires two accurate shots ,with a driver or fairway wood to reach the green.
Dedicated green staff and commitee members ensure this course is the jewel of the valley.

Bacup is a cracking nine hole moorland course with in my opinion the best greens in East Lancashire. The Hardest hole on the course is a dog-leg par 4 (No16) which needs an accurate tee shot followed by a good long iron or fairway wood to reach the green in regulation. This course is a true test of golf not easy peasy like many of it's neighbouring courses. The clubhouse has a friendly atmosphere with snooker room in the 19th. Expect a warm welcome from the steward, he's a real character.
