A nice little course with a very friendly atmosphere, also very easy to get to and find.
There are no par fives, 4 par 3's and 14 par 4's ranging from 241 to 444yds from the yellow tees. The fairways and tees are well maintained and the greens are fair condition and true.
Not a challenging course but perfect for amateurs or those wanting to improve / learn. There are some very nice holes such as the 15th and 17th especially, two long ish par 4's with split fairways short of the green and the greens at raised levels.
I really enjoyed the course and would recomend to anyone once, also at £8.50 for a twilight round a very good price for a well maintained municiple.

My local course, the first 18 hole course i ever played. Interesting and challenging holes, that if you play well, you will be capable of shooting really low scores but also punishes any off days you may be having! Friendly, welcoming people, cheap green fees, lovely clubhouse overlooking 18th and some of the best par 3's in yorkshire. Watch out for the final 4 holes, can easily destroy a good days work! Ideal for both the learner but also the seasoned golfer. Give it a go!

I am a member at the course and I think it is amongst the best courses in yorkshire. It isn't the most challenging but it isn't the easiest of courses. The nice weather has dried it out and is now playing superbly.
