very good
dont let the length of the holes kid you into thinking its easy. Allot of doglegs and blind tee shots that make you play for position off the tee greens are good and we enjoyed a good days golf

Played Bentham at the AM-AM and it is a great, great course. Not overly long but it was great fun to play and caught most of our team unawares at some point.
Best hole for me was the 138 Yard Par three over water. The pin was cut right at the back of the green and just about 3 yards from the edge.
Fine clubhouse, nice people and a great golf course = a lovely day out.

My brother and myself played Bentham on June 21st 2005, it stopped raining as we stepped out of the car and we enjoyed the golf ahead. The course is maintained to a top standard and I have played a few courses this year in England and Scotland , this ranks as the best. Quality!!!

The real beauty of this course is the seamless intergration of the extra 9 holes. Now a full 18 holes with breath taking views throughout. The greens are immaculate and every hole is individual enough to stay in the memory. The 3rd is a par 4 unlike any other i have ever seen, and cannot be put into words. Fairways are lush wide and encourage big hitters, beware the course is surrounded by mature tree's and deep moor land in places. A truly enjoyable course, one of the best i have played. Staff are friendly and at £25 per round is a must for golfers of all abilities.

What a gem of a course. Superb greens and fairways with truly outstanding individual holes, particually two downhill par 4's you can drive.
A must for the big hitter, with plenty of room on the fairways, but also quite testing around the greens. Pleasant clubhouse and staff for a great day out. My society has played it twice this summer and we shall definitly be doing the 170 mile round trip to return again this autumn.

Played this course over the Bank Holiday weekend, and was suitably impressed. It's recently been renovated and extended to 18 holes, priced £25 a round. Set in the middle of beautiful countryside with the peak of Ingleborough nearby, it really does have magnificent views. The course itself has some interesting holes, in particular a par 4 which finishes with an approach down to the green some thirty yards below the fairway, and the 9th hole, advertised as a left-hand dog leg, but turning out to be the first ever horseshoe shaped hole i've played! The greens are well kept and the staff very polite. Definitely worth a go.
