Billingham Golf Club Player Reports
J Hardy (England) 11/09/07
The course was well presented. The fairways and green were in beautiful condition. The greens were a nice quick pace and took a ball well but the course was let down with the bunkers. Several looked like there had been a beach party in them.
The pin positons were set in some tough locations but if you had the right line and pace they ran true.
The staff were very welcoming and very approachable, as were the members that we bumped into.
The food was plentiful and lovely.
If any improvements are being sought, then a stroke saver would be recommended for visiting persons, as there are some 'hidden hazards' and the stroke saver would have altered some of my club choices (17th, 15th 3rd 6th).
The changing rooms were well stocked with towels, clean and spacious.
This would not detract from an excellently presented and enjoyable course.
