Bloxwich Golf Club (1988) Ltd Player Reports

An excellent parkland course situated on the border of Staffordshire and the West Midlands conurbation within easy reach of Junction 11 of the M6 motorway.
The course provides a challenging but very fair test to all standard of golfer with many natural hazards and well positioned bunkers lurking to catch the wayward shot. There are some notable holes, particularly the long par 4 9th and the par 4 12th both in excess of 450 yards. The five par 3's are all feature holes in themselves.
As a long standing member of the club, I never tire of playing the course and you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome in the clubhouse where our hospitality extends to all societies and paying green fees.
Come along and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

David Fletcher, August 2007.
Don't be fooled by the apparent easy start with a pleasant Par 4 opening hole.A parkland course and easy walking but even post the ravages of heavy rainfall in superb condition.
Long Par 4's,more Par 3's than most courses but all of them potential score wreckers! A good test of Golf for any golfer but for the low handicapper a minefield of opportunities to 'drop' precious shots.
Excellent and recently refurbished changing facilities complete with shower facilities and a warm welcome at the 19yh with excellent value for money food.
A GOOD DAY OUT!

A well maintained parkland course currently undergoing a dramatic programme of bunker installations (the sandy ones not millitary)!!
With little room left to lengthen the course, the improvements in club and ball technology are being countered with new bunkers which are tightening the course.
Greens are generally in good condition and can be extremely fast.
A number of well positioned lakes and dogleg holes can tempt the longer hitter to become greedy to their cost.
Try it.
