I took my friend for his 2nd ever round of golf on here and it was my first time on his course. The fairways are nice and wide, the greens are nice on certain holes but could do with some work on most, and the tees are not the best.Overall i would say this is a course for beginners or a practise course for high to middle handicappers.

i use brackley about once a fortnight went on saturday in the rain but we are now on winter greens this does shorten 3 rd and 4 th greens to much for my own personnel view . as these 2 holes are normally very challenging . iwill still use royal brackley as normall it is a good challenging coarse . good value for money .

Played course for first time on 17th July. No frills municipal course. Course quite open, reasonable length, but greens were sunbaked and could have done with bit of water, fairways reasonable. But cheap at £10 for 18 holes and seemed easy enough to get tee time.

Just come back from playing this course for the first time, & thought I'd add my own comments. At £6.00/ round during the week you wont find better value for money anywhere. As already stated the fairways are wide and the rough lite, but the greens are small and tight and can be difficult to hold. My local driving range is £5.00 for 2 buckets of balls, for an extra quid you can play this course and gain much more. I'll certainly be back.

Played this course for the first time on 9/4/04. It was a little difficult to find the way round at first due to the lack of clear tee markers, but some friendly regular players helped out. Some areas of the course were quite soggy due to recent heavy rain, but it looks like some work is being done to rectify the problem.
Tees and fairways were generally good, but some of the greens need work. There were few distance markers in evidence.
As a relatively new golfer I found the course a challenge and intend to play there on a regular basis. The prices have just gone up, but at £9.00 for 18 holes on a weekend or bank holiday it is still very good value for money.
One tip if you are playing through the 18, get your drinks and nibbles before you start as it is a long walk from the 1st (10th) tee back to the shop.

Ideal for beginers, Greens aren't so good, but it has wide fairways. Well priced. Enough variation through out the course. The 3rd hole is abit of a beast when played at full length.
