played this course a few times now. and it's good, especially for novices such as myself. Greens reasonably well kept, good drainage, although fairways can get a bit soggy.

There has been some redevelopment work and construction of a new driving range is underway.

Less than £7.00 for a round midweek and only a tenner on weekends, great value for money.

Can get busy at weekends and school holidays.

Just to alert visitors that over the next 18 months park of the golf course is been re-built as a result of the development of a local school. This is currently meant the 4th hole tee has been brought forward ( not such a big issue but the only par 5 is now plays as a par 4 ) & the 6th hole has a new green in front of the brook with the bridge making it play as a par 3 rather than a par 4. The new green is very poor ( reclaimed from the fairway ) and it will take a time for the new seed etc to work through )

The course is well run though and have notice longer gaps between groups has been introduced improving the flow once you are on the course. The renovations though are having an impact on numbers so you should get around a bit quicker than you maybe use to.

I will attempt to update everyone as there will be more changes over the next 18 months

Bromley GC is an uneven track. The first 3-4 holes are very dull, with wide fairways and little imagination needed. However, the last five holes are much more interesting and challenging. I would definitely recommend this course for a quick, no frills, nine holes.

A SMASHING LITTLE CLUB WITH FRIENDLY STAFF AND A GOOD ATTITUDE TO GOLFERS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. WOULD RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH CHILDREN WHO WISH TO TAKE UP GOLF AND ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE THAT DOESN'T HAVE THE ATTITUDE TO JUNIORS THAT SEEM TO COME AS STANDARD WITH SOME CLUBS. ALL IN ALL AN ENJOYABLE 9 HOLES.

this course has it's good points and it's bad points. If you are a beginner you cannot go wrong on this course. It has good wide fairways although the run onto the greens can be challenging. On the downside, it does get very busy with no booked T - off times, so as i have experienced, you may have to wait at each hole as everyone queues up. Most players here are not experienced, thus as a beginner you will not have reason to be embarassed. I would advise the best time to play is before the shop opens, making it a free round of golf, with no one else holding you up.

Contrary to popular opinion, I happen to think that this 9 hole is one of the best in the surrounding area. It has a variety of holes, ranging from a cunning par-3, to some tricky par 4's. The best time to play is; as on most courses, Spring or late Summer / Autumn. The staff are friendly and the surrounding area can hardly be called a dump!...a graveyard, fields and a practise green!

If you’re a golfer of zero standards – then this course is for you. The surrounding area is a dump – so the golf course really fits in. It’s only a nine hole course but that really is enough. Pick and place is enforced all the time, pick your ball up and try and place it on a spot of grass.
