Having played this course a few times in the past (in summer), I was looking forward to playing it again quite recently.
Whilst it is an excellent course with superb greens, it does not stand up quite so well in winter, as it is clay-based. The fairways are fine, but any errant shots into the rough are further penalised in winter by worm casts, which can leave lumps of mud on the ball.
Overall, a super layout, but despite the bargain £26 green fee in winter, it's worth paying the extra to play in summer.

Tricky course, although relatively open. Most of the par fives are makeable in two but the par fours can be a real challenge. This isn't to say that the par fives don't represent a challenge - they definitely do! You will enjoy but perhaps be a touch daunted by the signature 11th hole, played over a lake. A round at Brookmans Park is a tough but envigorating experience and in my opinion a handicap there is worth about two or three shots on many of the neighbouring courses.

Tough course and always well kept, make the most of the par 5's and watch out for the par 4's!

A wonderful course in a beautiful, tranquil setting, just north of London. Each hole is easily remembered after play, a sign to me of a strong and visually stimulating golf course. Do not pass up an opportunity to play.

This is my home course. It is a great course providing a fiar test of golf for all stnadards.
If you Par the last three you will have earned your time in the 19th! A tough finish, but a must play. I hope you enjoy our course.

Great course, perfect fairways and good greens. Play it if you are in the area.
