A few good holes as I remember, but the general impression was a fairly tedious course in many places, particularly for the money involved. There seemed rather too many holes which mirrored the previous one in reverse. As well as this, some of the holes seemed to have been simply crammed into an empty field on a slope, with no real characteristics of their own.

A fine Country Park course with some very nicely laid out holes. When I played in early August the greens were in superb condition. The 15th is a notable tight hole OB on left causing many to sweep their tee shot across an oncoming fairway on the right all too easily. The 18th is particularly special with a large pond protecting your approach shot, sending many players scampering for the 19th quicker than expected!
