Hi, i'm 14 and have become a member of buckingham gof club just this year. I have played well over 10 full rounds all ready and find each time as i'm becoming more ambitious the course gets more tough. It offers some of the best kept greens and fairways(especially in Winter; pristine). I already know most of the juniors there and many adults and didnt find it hard to settle in. At the moment the golf club is looking for more junior members(especially girls).

Played here midweek June 06 (£17.50 using a county card).
A very ordinary fairly open parkland course .Although it's an old club it didn't have an established feel for me & it felt like one of those courses that was built in the seventies. There were few memorable holes &
lots of similar looking holes running up & down next to each other with a thin line of trees separating them .
It also lacked character & class. (the tee markers were concrete blocks that looked more in keeping with a municipal). The fairways weren't the lushest & the greens didn't look in mint condition but actually ran very true.
Other shortcomings were having to cut out 2 holes to get past two members 3 balls who were holding us up with no-one ahead of them & who seemed fairly determined not to let us through.
This course hasn't got enough about it for me to recommend it & is certainly not worth anywhere near the standard green fee of £35.

Hi i am 16 years oild and have been a member of Buckingham Golf Club for three years. I was junior captain in the year of 2002. This is deffinatly one of the best courses in Bucks. it is very good for both long and short drivers and every hole is a challenge. The club house is one of the key features with its recently repherbished changing room. i have played golf at woburn and many other courses around europe and this is by far the best i have ever played. No wonder pros like Podraig Harrington have played here.

I am 14 years old and am a member at Buckingham, i think that it is by far one of the best courses i have played on. Its undulating fairways, water traps, and fast greens make it a great round of golf, wether you play well or not! - no wonder people like sean connery have been seen playing this course - without doubt one of the best courses in the area.
