This course is quite short as previously mentioned but it is also a challenging course. The fairways can be tighter than my usual 'country' courses and the greens are small and often well protected. The bunkers deserve a mention as when I found myself in them ( almost every approach to a green it seemed) , they were 1st class and filled with light deep fluffy sand , far better than I am used too. The greens were in good condition though not exceptional and the fairways were thick lush and dark green , they were very nice fairways indeed. There are plenty of interesting holes including a nice par three over water and some blind holes to keep you on your toes. I do like to see a driving range at a club and there isn't one so I have to mark the club down for that.
This is a members club and is beautifully kept with a fairly grand club house and a helpfull club professional with a well stocked shop.
The green feee is not at the cheep end but it is also not expensive particularly if playing as a guest as I did. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my round and I would be very happy to return in the near future and attempt to do better.

The course though short is very good test of golf. The fairways were generous enough, but greens were in very good condition and were very well protected and quite small making them quite difficult to hit. The reception that I recieved was very warm and the Pro was really helpful. All in all, a course where course management comes into play. I would recommend playing this course to everyone.
