Chesham and Ley Hill Golf Club Player Reports
Kevin B. (England) 30/06/06
Played here on a Friday afternoon June 06 (£10 using a county card ).Standard green fee is £20
Tree lined, common land 9 hole course .In a pleasant remote setting .Surprisingly lush fairways in this dry spell & reasonable smallish greens that ran slower than they looked.Rather too many tight positional holes ( i only used my driver once) for my liking & quite a lot of walking imbetween greens & tees (over roads etc.).
Standout holes were the downhill short par 3 3rd & the 8th.Although it's fairly pleasant, after 9 holes we couldn't be bothered to go around again & i wouldn't return.
