Ross Simpson (England) 05/08/05
Played this 4/8/05 as part of a society with handicaps ranging from 6 to 28 (and beyond).
Excellent venue for this type of group. Sufficient challenge for the low boys, little real rough/hard to lose a ball for the high ones.
No (or very little) fairway watering so quite dry, but greens very well kept and true running. Bunkers a little compacted (the 2 I went in anyway).
Tough start (long par 4 SI 5 followed by long-sh and tight par 3) but 2 of the 3 par 5s can be reached in 2.
Some 'interesting' (huge but not to my taste) homes line the 9th hole.
Good off-course facilities - though tough to find spike entrance.
Would certainly return.
