Good players have to use their head on this firm and fast course; it's no good just bombing away with an aerial game. Super design.

Just returned from a great weekend. The facilities were great and the people very friendly. We had a mixture of handicaps and found the course just about right. Found the pubs and restaurants in Midhurst good. The weekend package was very good value for money.

I am a reasonably long hitter and play off 6, I found this course too short, I rarely had a full shot to any green, the two par 5's were a driver/8 iron, and driver/6 iron.
The greens were stupidly fast and did not hold, good shots were being punished. This is the only reason for the difficuly rating of 7/10, if the greens were fair this course would only be 4/10 for difficulty.
If you like the U.S Open and watching people humiliated around greens, play here!

This is an excellent open parkland course, the best in the area. The course is very hilly with great views, and thus has very few boring holes. An excellent short game is required (you need to be able to pitch and hold the green) and some of the greens are very tricky, so sensible putting is required to finish in two.

Magnificient course, always plays so well. Terrefic 17th Par 3. Challenging- need a good short game and what an amazing clubhouse. Great to relax in after a brilliant 18 holes- very pittoresque views!

Played this in mid May. The fact that it tipped down with rain all day did not spoil the enjoyment of a superb course.Nice setting with good views and in very good condition. The greens, in particular, are absolutely superb. You will struggle to find any better.
Building work on a new clubhouse is nearly finished (opening mid summer).
All in all 9/10 Excellant
