Played this course three week ago for the first time in two years. What a change !!! Then the course was rubbish, now the greens are the best I have played on since Knole Park. Someone has done some serious work on this golf course and they deserve to be rewarded.
To end a very enjoyable day the food in the restaurant was excellent, with good friendly service.
What a change from 2 years ago - I will be back very soon.

I have to say i concur with the previous post, i played this weekend and was amazed at how quiet it was out there. I think this is the best course i've played all summer (playing in a league, i get to play alot of courses!) - the greens are in very good condition, fairways are trim and obviously cut on a daily basis, bunkers were all raked, ponds were full up, rough was neat (dont stray out of them though, as there are ALOT of trees out there!)
the green fee may not be to everyones liking, £27 is good in my books, but its well worth it - a challenging course for any level of player.
I'd say get out there now before it gets rediscovered!

This course has turned itself around in the last year, the clubhouse has been refurbished and now has a pleasant bar and decent food. The putting green has been remodelled and is well kept. (the pro-shop is still a little lacking in choice!)
The course itself is in wonderful condition, the best it has been for a long time. The trees along the fairways have grown enough to present problems when you stray, the fairways are nicely cut as are the roughs. The greens are also in good order and bunkers have fresh sand in. With the recent rain all of the water hazards are topped up, and are teeming with life and seeing as there is water on 90% of the holes, makes it pretty challenging now.
all in all i would ignore the posts pre june2006 and come and play this, i assure you you'll be pleasantly suprised.

A good challenge for any handicap and probably the least busy course we ever play on. Rounds are pleasant as you are never harassed.
However, price seems to constantly go up yet the course gets quieter. £27 for a round at 5pm (weekday) is just not worth the money - no twighlight. We also played in the winter when the course was mud and were charged full price.
In summary great course in the summer but until some reality sets in with the pricing we will not be returning.

Played Edenbridge for the first time on 24 Feb 06. If the greens were in better condition the course would have been excellent value at only £12. Unfortunately the greens were in pretty poor condition. Very patchy in colour and very bobbly. They looked as though they'd been rolled instead of cut short. Such a shame as the rest of the course was in decent nick.
