Feedback on par 3 course - just popped in when travelling in that area. It is a complete rip off, costs are double those quoted here at over £5 for nine holes on a what is effectively a poorly mown field with small greens, then its the same again to hire clubs and they were the worst 'sets' I have ever seen. For 2 of us it cost about £22 for nine holes in a field! - BTW I play off 14 and am familiar with many courses/standards and this is the worst I have come across in 20 years.

Superb 9 hole course. Very challenging with well maintained greens and fairways. Love playing this course and better than most courses in Nottingham.

Played Mid May. Course conditions excellent with manicured fairways and greens - not your typical muni, since it has been taken over by a private company who have invested in it. The main course 9 holes is a true test with several long par fives on open parkland style fairways. Many of the pins can't be seen and playing with a local helped significantly.
Putting green good and there is a general practise area, although the range bays are open and balls expensive.

Played 9 holes here last week for £6.95 with loyalty card.(£7.95 without I believe)
Winter teeing mats were still in use. Disappointing considering the course was pretty dry. Hope they'll be back on full tees very soon.
They've recently rebuilt the (greenside) bunkers at the 1st and (quite rightly) reinstated the greenside bunker on the 3rd, removed some 5-6 years ago as I recall. The sand looked Augusta white, probably as they are classed as GUR at the moment
Look forward to playing again soon on full tees and with those bunkers in play.

This is a fantastically well maintained course. It is a very long 9 hole course, but is very plush and green. It almost seems like a very expensive course to visit. Some good challenges on the holes, the 5th being quite tricky if the line is off. A very very nice course to play on - highly recommend it.

Played this recently at a cost of £ 6.50 for nine holes which is good value. The course is long for a public 9 hole and demands good hitting along with short iron play .The greens are a little slow but good and the local players friendly .
I would certainly recommend this course and when in the area will go back .The only downside was the golf yobs racing around in golf carts plus apparantly the need to prebook .
