I have to say that this course was fairly unimperessive. A dull course that did not seem to be in good condition. Really not very challenging and very flat. I thought that it had potential as it has a bit of distance but with other courses so near to it I do not think this course is really in the same league.

Played today in the wind and the rain, and i must say the course has improved over the years. The course is very well laid out and has always been let down by poor management. The bunkers now have sand in and the fairways and greens are now being cut. There are some great holes especially the par 5 8th and the par 3 18th. Still work to do on the picking up of dead grass that has been cut especially in the light rough which makes losing balls a certainty.

I have recently played both the 9 hole and 18 holes course. Both have been in very good condition - particularly the greens. The 9 hole is one of nicest layouts and most challenging I have ever played. The 18 hole is also a nice layout which being quite open is suitable for letting loose with the driver. I think lower handicap players may find the course on the easy side but netherless an enjoyable experience.

I have been playing fairlop on and off for a number of years now, and over the last year everything has improved, the facilities and the course has improved to no end.Everything is cleanly cut and looking a lot smarter. As a 4 handicaper i find the course very challenging and tough to conquer,But great fun trying to.

As a new member to Fairlop waters golf club (April 04')I would like to inform golfers of the improvements at Fairlop. With new staff working on the course it has to be the most improved course around. The fairways look great with clear semi rough cuts and the greens are in excellent condition. This course is now beginning to see overflow of players fed up with the long cue and slow play at nearby courses. Monthly medals are a great day and we recently played our first "Lesley Wood trophy". The new club is really taking off and with the course looking so good it is attracting more "mid-low"cat 2 golfers.
