Farnham can be a wolf in sheeps clothing! especially from the white tees. Not long but very tight. You will have to use your course management to the full to card a score. very quick drying subsoil, playable in the wettest of conditions. Superb test & very hospitable. Not to be missed.

Played in a corporate golf day at the end of August 05, and really enjoyed it. The course is mostly quite forgiving and it is possible to card a decent score even on your first visit, but beware anything off line is punished. There are some really great downhill driving holes, but if you slice it forget it!!. There are a couple of holes where you have to be aware of people teeing off behind you, as a couple of balls whizzzed narrowly past us, so be carefull. Apart from that the greens were excellent, the members and staff very friendly, and the food very good, would reccomend it to anyone.

A relly good golf course, the front nine is very interesting with woburnesque fetures, lots of trees and dog legs, the second nine is easier but not quite so demanding. You always seem to be blocked out if you just try to rip your driver. A thinkers golf course which rewards accuracy and not length.
