Made my second visit here in April 2007. Two of us played, using a 2Fore1 voucher which we found was redeemable only against the full-day rate of £28--a little disappointing as we only had time (and energy!) for one round.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the course very much, especially once we had got past the up-down, up-down layout of the first nine. There is plenty of difficulty, with hazards not always apparent when playing a shot, and many places that it is best not to visit! The holes close to the cliff top were a delight to play.
Some of the greens had difficult slopes, which made them a challenge, but they were all in good condition.
We particularly liked the friendly welcome we received from club members, some of whom went out of their way to chat to us and ask if we had enjoyed our round. This also happened on my previous visit.
All in all, a good place to play golf, although I imagine it would be rather trying on a windy day.
Hope to return soon.

Played Easter weekend. £27 for 18 holes. A quality long course with some breath-taking views. Not many courses have a lighthouse to tee-off alongside.
Varying gradients, splashes of water and sand galore ensure the course kept my friends and I on our toes. Certainly one of the wettest courses my colleague Andrew has ever played.
Friendly staff and fellow players ensured a great visit. Well worth a visit.

Played on 8th June 2004, it cost £18 a round and was well worth it as the sun shone, the wind stayed in bed and the course was generally in very good condition. Fairways were generous (which could prove important if the wind blows).
Barmaid in the Clubhouse wasn't of the friendliest disposition but maybe she just wanted to be out in the sun as well. Overall, the course left a good impression and I am happy to offer a recommendation to any potential visitors.

Played on a typically chilly but bright windswept February day...and what a cracking day. We were made extremely welcome (especially my two young sons)and able to use 2 fore 1 vouchers making it excellent value especially when allowed to play for as long as we wanted.
Course was in great condition and with the wind very challenging. Recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Only one drawback...my 14 year old beat me again so I guess its back to the drawing board...

The Flamborough Head course was lengthened in 2000 to a par 71. The addition of gorse bushes on various holes also increased the difficulty. This is still a pleasent club to play at, with excellent facilities and helpful staff and professional. Tricky greens and a spiteful wind can make low scoring, on what appears an open course, a difficult task. Well worth a visit.

On arrival at the course I found everyone to be very friendly and very helpful. The course was in excellent condition and is obviously well maintained. The greens can be quick as you would expect for a course on the cliff tops (some fantastic views). I enjoyed my day at the course and I am already planning a return visit.
