Visited this club on 02/06/00,with the Toplads Golf Society. The course is fantastic, including some of the best par 3's you are ever likely to play. The secretary and his staff make you feel very welcome and the food is a must. Will definately go back as only two members of our society manged to better 34 points and the remainder of us would like another opportunity to undertake the challenge and walk off the eighteenth with a respectable points tally.

I have been a member of Grimsby GC for 3 years now. Although I am living in Long Beach CA at the moment I will always retain a conection with this club in my home town.
The first time you see Grimsby GC, you cannot believe it could be there! It sits in between two main roads and behind a Posthouse Forte Hotel. The cousr was desingned by the same man who designed the West course at Wentworth, home of the world matchplay, won by Mark O'Meara last year.
No two holes follow in the same direction which is rare. The par 3 holes make this course. The 247 yard 9th will test any standard of golfer! Also the short par 4's are among the toughest around. Although the yardage seems short, there is so much trouble off the tee that irons are advised off many tees, giving the impression that the course is longer. There is water, undulation, and gradient making this parkland course a hidden jem!
Don't just go to Scotland! There are many inland courses that are worth the visit!!
