We played this course last night on a stunning June evening,it really is an oasis only miles from Central London.
The clubhouse is just perfect, old style and welcoming, nothing is overstated, which is unusual only because some the houses in close by Bishops Avenue are the exact opposite. It is a perfect example of how a club should look, feel and be run.
The pro was first class,he had a great range of clubs on offer and was the epitome of what a club pro should be and made us feel at home and even squeezed us in a tee time in the middle of a club match.
The course is only nine holes and the first is a fairly easy downhill left to right par 4,this is then followed by a fantastic combination of holes that needs thinking about and the use of in my case practically every club in the bag....we played the first nine off of the yellows then switched to the whites for the
second nine.Dont be fooled some of the par 4's are long and hilly with the 7th one of the toughest in Middlesex,up hill and across a dyke.
Afterwards the 19th has wonderfull views across NW London which was complimented by excellent bar staff who made us feel comfortable.
A memorable and unexpected experience

I played this course yesterday and it was a real pleasure. The clubhouse had the fire going and the welcome was warm also.
The professional took one look at my old clubs and immediately stuck a brand new 6 iron in my hands and said "Try that". A kind gesture or a sales technique I'm not sure, but a nice touch nevertheless.
Members I encountered on the course were friendly and pleased to accept non/potentially new members onto the course.
The course is challenging with many elevation changes throughout- a real oasis only a few miles from Central London. Greens were immaculate and true- very well-kept.
I live locally, but not only for this reason will I be playing this enjoyable course again. I recommend it to you.

This is a lovely little 9 hole course, with surprisingly long and challenging par 4s, up to 480 yards on the white tees. The club house is in good condition and we were made to feel welcome.

Having lived in West Sussex for over 25 years I have never found this course locally. I believe it may be in Surrey or Middlesex - certainly not in Sussex
