I used to play this course regularly years ago when it was just 9 holes and it was pleasant enough then (despite having to run the gaunlet across the 18th fairway to get to the 1st tee!). However I can't tell you how much better it is since it became 18.
If you are being picky you could say that it is obvious from the design which holes have been added as they contrast with the older holes, however that really is splitting hairs as the overall quality of the holes is very good regardless of age. I'm even thinking of joining (if they'll have me) in a year or so.
I'd say the course is suitable to all handicap ranges and the people are very friendly. It is also in a very nice location with some scenic views from the higher parts of the course.

We as a Society have visited this club for the last 2 years at opposite ends of the year, we have on both ocassions found the course in excellent condition and very well maintained.
The front 9 has more hills but even these are not too hard walking, and although not the longest of courses it does provide a true test of a golfers accuracy without being too difficult.
The clubhouse has a warm and friendly feel to it and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff.
The food is of a very high standard and is highly recommended, either as a snack or a full meal.
It is also exceptional value for money, especially if you book a package as a society.
We have no hesitation in recommending this golf club, and who knows we may see you there as we plan to return again next year.

Played this course yesterday (5/8/04). A great day out was had by all. Great course, very well maintained. Front 9 is testing walk, but the back 9 is a flat. All at the club made our society very welcome and the day out was great value for money.Would recommend to all societies on the lookout for places to book.

Played this course in a strong wind with my society 2nd July 2004 with handicaps ranging from 6 to 18
We all thought that the course was in excellent condition with the greens and fairways imaculate.
The first nine is very hilly and it is a welcome relief when you reach the flat back nine. The catering was top class and the beer (hand pumped Boddingtons) out of this world..most of us were at the end of a very enjoyable day out
Needless to say we are going back again next year
