Myself and two friends took advantage of their very good deal last weekend. Dinner, Bed and Breakfast followed by 18 holes on the Hawkstone course was £49. Superb value for money, drinks in hotel not too expensive, meal was good with a good amount of choice.
Very friendly starter explained all the best paths on the course and what to look out for. We had a superb round. 16, 20 and 24 handicappers finished in 4 hours with no queues. The 10th is superb a long par 4 with superb views of the Follies.
Hawstone is well worth a visit and we personally can't wait to return in March to play the Championship (Windmill) course which we've already booked!!!

We played both courses last Saturday and had a great day, despite the rain in the afternoon. The courses are very different in style but both were in fine condition. Some of our group preferred the more traditional Hawkstone with its beautiful views and lovely old trees. Others thought that the Windmill was the best course of its type they have played. It is an excellent society venue and I would recommend it if you are in the Shrewsbury area.

My wife and I played both course on alternate days. The Windmill course was longer than we were used too and a fine test of golf for all Handicaps. The Hawkstone course is slightly shorter but the scenery, especially starting on the back nine were stunning. Superb greens and some holes to remember whether played well or not. Would definately return.

We played the Windmill last week. This was real delight. No holes are the same and vary in the degree of difficulty. Par 3's are well testing and the greens were very true.
A return visit is a definate.

Absolutely superb. Everything first class, courses, greens, hotel, clubhouse. All for £30 weekday. 2-fore-1 on Windmill course.

Myself and three friend have recently booked a weekend at Hawkstone, this will be our fourth visit in as many years. The hotel is superb with quality food and rooms. The course is by far the best I have played, It's worth arriving 90 minutes early to play the accademy course as well, and the scenery is outstanding.
Can't wait to get back there.
