This course had been recommended to us and we were disappointed with it. We turned up hungry at 8am on a Thursday morning and there was no breakfast available - except for the Pro Shop, nothing was open - apparently this is normal at this course. The course itself was uninspiring, with seemingly endless par fours without a break (the first six holes are all par fours) and the greens were not good - I don't know if the grass was too long but, whatever the problem, it was impossible to get the ball rolling properly. Lunch was quite good and the guys in the Pro Shop were very friendly but we won't be rushing back. As you might gather, we didn't score well and, of course, that always clouds one's judgement!

OK if you are an adult. Juniors are not treated with any respect and you feel as though you have entered a restricted area without permission. The pro's are very nice and helpful and give very good lessons. Course nice in the summer but very boggy in the winter. The 11th is very good fun because of its difficulty.

I grew up on this course and have many fond memories of it. There are some delightful holes but some extremely tough par 4s, especially on the back nine. The fairways are not the widest in the world but the rough is never severe. It's not long but it isn't easy by any means. Good greens.

all the holes on the outside of the course are worth playing, not quite so true of the other holes in the middle.muddy in the winter.
