This is an attractive, well presented heathland course in the north Leeds area. Although it is not quite up to the standard of some of its illustrious near neighbours, it's not that far behind. The course is bisected by a busy main road and the best holes are the opening and closing stretch on the clubhouse side. The first is very good and the last 3 very interesting but the pick of the holes is easily the 12th, a par 4 and plenty of it, 470 yards of gently falling ground with evil bunkering. Two minor gripes would be the club isn't very easy to find and could be signposted better and the practice putting green was in very poor condition compared to the greens on the course. One other word of warning, it's quite a stiff test of stamina round here, the course is hilly and I did not see one overweight member! - 6.5/10

Extremely attractive and well presented parkland
course. Greens were well prepared and quick.
Undulating course with many uphill and downhill
shots to the greens making club selection difficult. Excellent finishing stretch which will
really test your shotmaking abilities to get close
to the pins. A good alround test of golf whatever
