Location/Description:
A1 (M) south east boundary of Gateshead. 18 holes 6421 yards. S.S.S. 71. Practice area.
The course is situated approximately 8 miles from the coast and 5 miles from Newcastle and is readily accessible by many main roads. Although some perceive this a 'flat' and therefore 'easy' course, it will offer golfers of all abilities the opportunity to test their skills especially with the introduction of many tree lined fairways. The course is set out in inland style. Apart from the many thousands of rapidly growing trees, the course has benefited from a number of subtle changes made in conjunction with our course architect ensuring that the course maintains a standard scratch of 71 (6421 yards). The wildlife on the course is thriving with the care to ensure that there are a number of natural habitats.
