We were sent here the other day because the 9-hole course at Broome Manor was in use for a competition. It's a peaceful course with wide fairways, large, well-maintained greens and deceptive slopes. Three of the four of us were beginners so it was nice to have so few people on the course! However, the rough is kept cut quite long, with lots of cut grass left in clumps on the top, which made it very difficult to find the balls. If it wasn't for the rough I'd be happy to play here again.

Excellent for beginners like me. 1st tee a bit nervwracking as queue watching you. Do a good drive and the round gets better.
Watch out for the pond on the 3rd and don't drive to far as you will end up in the bushes.
Excellent facility.
