The front nine has parkland feel but the back nine plays more like an inland links particularly when the breeze is up.

Placement from the tee is key - sometimes a long iron or fariway wood is the prudent move. Good imagination is required around the greens - sometimes the high pitch is suitable but often the low runner is more effective.

At 6513 yards and par 71, this is truly a unique historical course on the edge of Greater London.
