Horam Park Golf Course Player Reports
Chris Beecroft (England) 18/05/07
9-hole courses often suffer from not being taken seriously by “proper” golfers, but if you want a leisurely, reasonably priced round of golf in a lovely part of the world then look no further.
The course isn’t particularly challenging or long, but has plenty of trees to catch wayward shots and was in a good condition when we visited.
Off-course, the pro shop is well stocked for it’s size, while the bar and changing facilities are adequate if a little dated.
A final word of caution; the club doesn’t operate a tee booking facility, which can be a bit of a double-edged sword. We were lucky, finding a quiet period, but I can imagine my experience of Horam wouldn’t have been nearly so positive had we been forced to wait hours for a tee time.

Horam is a good lay out although a little on the short side. The 2nd, 6th and 7th holes are very well designed and 7 requires a tough carry over the pond to a well situated green. The price is very good and the generally condition of the course is good each time i have played it.
