I am not a member, but at this club all guests are welcomed. Great course, not particulalry long but technically challenging. The course is generally well maintained, with good greens and drainage. Look forward to playing again in the summer.

Played this course a few days ago in January and was pleasantly suprised by the condition. Having The River Roding and a few streams run across the place several times I was expecting a swamp at this time of year, but it wasn't too bad at all. A few temporary tees were in play, and there were temporary greens evident but these were not in play the day we visited. I would suggest as a first timer that you either play with someone, or at least follow someone who has been there before. We wouldn't have had a clue where we were going otherwise. I think the course may have been altered from its original design in the way it is laid out because of the widening of the A.406, and because of it I would imagine it is quite a dangerous place on a busy day, with tees and greens in the firing line on numerous holes. For this time of year, the greens were pretty good, and talking to a few people they are supposedly very good in the season. Finding the place is fun itself, the entrance being a gap between two rows of houses. Look for the yellow gates. The clubhouse and car park are situated on the other side of the three-lane 406, acess being over a footbrige.

I'm a regular member of the course it can get very dry in the summer but in the rest of the year the course is in good condition. The course is well known for the social aspect of it. What you will find at this golf club is that you get great golf as well as comps.

I played here once, this July. Incredibly hot afternoon but they insisted on shirts tucked in. Fair enough, it's a local rule but I thought they could have made an exception given how incredibly hot it was. I wasn't impressed with the course, badly signposted, not great condition and very crowded. I won't be playing here again and wouldn't recommend it.
