Played here yesterday and the greens are great but also fast. Borrows are diffcult to read. This is definitely the toughtest aspect of this course. Yes it has long par fours but if you drive well then a decent score should be possible but only if you also putt well. I didn't and ended up with 28 points. The comments re: hardpressed to play to your handicap on this course are true! Having said that, I walked off thinking if I could have another go, I would put in a much better performance. Sign of good challenging but fair golf course! Hopefully I will be invited back.

One of the best courses within the M25. Langlay Park is a real test, not least because of it being a Par 69. We we lucky enough to play off the Championship tees, which means that there is one Par 5 on the course (as opposed to par 68 and No Par 5's off the yellow tees)
That may seem odd, but it does focus your game. What it means is that there are several Par 4's of 400 yards or over, including the difficult 1st. The 18th is a short Par 3 over water, finishing in front of the clubhouse. It feels as if the whole place is watching you as you tee it up!
In summary, a very nice course with super food and one where it's extremely tough to play to your handicap.

Fantastic greens, really the best I have ever played on. Long, long, long par 4's make this a great test of your driving. The setting is quiet and makes you forget how close you are to the centre of London (20mins from Victoria). Overall a stern test of your golf, you will be hard pressed to play to your handicap... did I mention the greens?

A superb course. Long, testing and you're be hard pressed to achieve your handicap. The course is kept in excellent condition, and the greens are a great test for your putting skills. The club is friendly and well run - food is excellent. The hardest hole is the 4th (long par 4. Don't tell too many people about it - the members enjoy a great course.
