Played 16/11/07. This what you call a great course and talk about value for money. It was £35 with bacon roll and drink before, golf and then a 2 course dinner after and the food was excellent. Now the course. All you have to say about Torksey is BRILLIANT. The course is tight but manageable and just the right length. The greens were in great nick and are better than some ive played in the summer, in fact you will find no better anywhere. Teeing areas nice and tidy, fairways also spot on. Pro shop made you feel welcome, as did the people in the clubhouse and after, the food was just what you needed after a round of golf in the cold and wind. Mind you it would have been ok after a round in the middle of summer, good old home cooking. There isnt a bad word to say about the place. There were 12 who played and not 1 complaint about anything, that says it all.

Played the course as part of a society, very impressed with the course layout and condition.
Made to feel welcome by the members and staff, catering being a little expensive is the only drawback to a great day out.
Can't wait to play it again next year, although we may sneak back as part of a fourball.

Played Torksey a number of times now. The groundstaff do a brilliant job and the course is always in good nick. The first seven holes, are good, but are there to break you in, because it only gets harder. One of the best inland courses in Lincolnshire.
