I played this course on Thursday 5th July and, considering the recent run of rainy weather, found the course in really good condition. Only the 18th fairway was a little squelchy under foot, everything else was in very good order. The Tees, Fairways and Greens were all nicely presented and the whole day was very pleasant.
The staff were all very helpful and I would recommend this course which is very picturesque in places.

this course is a super course! i just went o n it yesterday and it was well kept! It nicely challenging for me the course was in the best condition the clubhouse was ok but i saw 2 people tring to get to the pro shop to pay and then tee off but it was closed and they were searching the grounds just to get a round of golf but that had problem with me and the clubhouse is so good the bar. Its one of the best!

Played here on the first Friday of March 2007, found the course to be in quite reasonable condition despite the amount of rain that we have had over the last month. Only two fairways, 2nd and the 18th were poor, but this did not destract from the round. I feel the nicest two holes are the 13th and 15th. The 13th although a blind drive, the approach shot needs to be very accurate. The 15th is just a really good hole. A 500+ par 5, down into the valley then up the other side. Overall I really enjoyed the course, but if you don't hit it straight you will not score!!

Played here on a coporate day on a Friday.
The course is as previously described here quite tight in places. There are a couple of very picturesque holes early on.
I found the greens to be in fairly poor condition in places. There was a temporary green on one hole (the fifteenth I think) the first we knew of which was when a number of our fourball had found the normal green!
Overall a very pleasant experience despite the surprise temporary green, in August!

Decent course, well worth a vist. We played on a horrid day pouring with rain and they let us on for £30 for 2 of us which was decent of them. A couple of stunning holes early on, not too much to shout abotu inside the race track but it's definately a course worth playing.

Lingfield Park has to be the best value in Surrey. Very warm welcome from both staff and members, great pre round breakfast and then the course. Tight in places, with lots of variety from hole to hole and superb greens.
If you haven't been, get down there for a real treat.

Just back after my first visit and my first comment would be don't bother turning up unless you can hit the ball straight! A beautiful course with some outstanding holes. On the whole a bit of a challenge, but I cant wait to get back and give it another crack. I wasn't too impressed with the course management - greens were a bit tatty, and some of the areas around the tees reminded me of a public park.
Good value for money after 3 pm - 2 for £28.

I agree with the others. This is a stunning golf course. We have been visiting now for about three years and the greens simply get better and better. The course maintenance is as good as you could find anywhere. The design and layout is super and the seclusion of many of the holes makes this a truly wonderful outing. The little adjustments at the 18th have improved this hole to something that demands thought. The professional is helpful and the members are friendly to visitors. A real gem. Possibly one of the finest "tracks" in the South East. Don't miss it. Visit in late April and May to really appreciate the plant life, or autumn to appreciate just how many varieties of trees line the fairways.

A really excellent course. Three of us went round there three times on a day ticket. They had a special offer on and we each paid £32 each. OK, so 54 holes in one day is a tad excessive but it was worth the effort. Greens and fairways are in top notch condition and the course is a real joy to play. Plenty of trees to test the wayward, but keep to the fairways and you will be rewarded. Like a previous reviewer, I agree that you almost think you are at Wentworth. A lovely setting for golf. Do yourself a favour, get down there for 9am, buy the day ticket and stay there till it gets dark! Bliss.

Very nice course. Some difficult holes but opens up to become more of a normal course. First five and final two are difficult. Play it and loose some balls!
Tony (England) 19/06/00
Very pleasant woodland/parkland course. Holes 1 to 6 are stunning, and you start to think you're at Wentworth or Sunningdale. It opens out a bit after that, and scoring gets easier. Expect to lose a ball or two. It has the feel of an old course, but in fact it's only 12 years old. Will
be making an early return visit.
