I played this course recently on a society day and my first impressions of a flat, open, fairly easy course were truely destroyed on my second shot. The rough I found myself in was very unforgiving and if you do find your ball then it is not certain that you can do anything more than just hack it out. The course is excellent and puts a premium on finding the fairway and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a challenge. The wind was not that strong when we played and I would imagine that shooting anywhere near your handicap when it does is almost impossible. The food was good the pro and all the staff very friendly and we all had an excellent day.

Having played many longer courses both here and abroad, always happy to get back to a fine course which is constantly being improved.
Flat and pleasant it may be,try it in all weathers.A fine test of golf for all, rewarded by the return to a fine clubhouse with hospitable members.

As someone brought up on the links of Pyle and Kenfig, found the course very enjoyable although it was a very calm day. Tees and greens in excellent condition and though not the longest course, accurate drives needed on a few of the back nine. Numerous well positioned bunkers, make up for the lack of yardage.
Lovely clubhouse with friendly staff and good food. Definitely worth another visit.

I think this could be described as an "animal of a course". I am not overly experienced with links type courses, but found this pretty difficult - especially the par 3s. Wind was the main feature, choosing to drive off asif out to sea in order to land my ball on the fairway) This is certainly not for the faint hearted - a challenge to say the least. Great if you like to be weather-beaten (in more ways than one). Greens extremely difficult too. Not too sure I would be in a hurry to return (probably female point of view!)

always fun, always dry underfoot, always windy.not enough sand to be really linksy, but you always get a friendly welcome.club selection very often impossible.watch out for the stream and the reed beds.Par3's the most memorable feature.
