Market Rasen and District Golf Club Player Reports

I would consider myself as a 'high handicapper', and as such the thought of narrow, pine tree lined fairways would normally daunt me. However the driver came out and did me proud and made for a very enjoyable round.
The greens were in superb condition as were the undulations of the fairways. A very well established and beautiful golf course, which was almost silent as we strolled around.
A fantastic course with a large clubhouse and excellent facilities & hospitality, a value-for-money for course and I would recommend it to any ability of golfer.

Market Rasen is an interesting parkland course of close to championship standard. The greens and fairways are maintained at a high standard. The terrain is rolling rather than undulating, with most holes flanked by pine trees. The course is not too long (6045 yds) but the fairways are cut quite narrow.
The clubhouse is fairly modern and provides excellent viewing of the difficult Par 3 18th.
