VERY nice hilly short course that is well laid out and has it's tricky moments. I enjoyed the variety of the holes; for a public course a lot of thought has been put in to it. Conditions reasonable for time of year - the odd soggy green - and it seems to be well kept. Friendly staff and clientele.
If you fancy smacking a ball as far as you can for 4 hours then go somewhere else, but this is a great practise course for beginners or those returning to the game. Booking advisable on weekends, even at this time of year (Feb).

A nice little querky course. The course par is only 33. If you fancy having a good score come here (37). You can get to most greens in one and the doglegs in two. Although if not on your game and can be demanding to the lower h/c player. The greens and general condition if fairly good. My only gripe would be at the state of the tee boxes, they are not only bare, but most are not flat. Making driving the longer holes a bit more of a challenge. Very nice starter course.

i played moore place yesterday, it was my first round of golf ever i was quite impreseed with the design and seein that im only 14 i found it was still challenging for such a short course. i would recommened anyone to go and play there. the badf point was the greens were not very well maintained.

Love the course as it's a great challenge and one of the best maintained public couses in the area. One or two "big hitters" don't seem to like it much but it favours the accurate and as a result, is a wonderful practice course. You should be getting around with nothing bigger than a 3 iron and if you're not hitting "two's" on the first, then maybe bowls could be your bag.

What a great little "real" course for novices. The Green Fees are now £9 weekdays and £12 weekends.
I shall certainly be back.

I played there today and had the course to myself. Fairways in better condition than alot of other more renowned courses in the area, greens a bit fluffy and teeing off areas non existent. But for seven quid, no complaints.
A tight course to teach you good course management. A good place to learn the game and practice on.
