played this course in west midland league, have to say, although it is in good nick, the layout is n0ot to my taste. many friends and fellow golfers love the place and i can sometimes see why, it is kept in great shape and the greens are lovely. maybe i just dont like it because i played like a fool! anyway, the facilities are also top notch. its a course i would recomend, but i find the layout to be of an accquired taste and not one that suits myself.

Have just played this thoroughly enjoyable course. Old and established,everything about it is immaculate.The greens are consistent and fast,and the fairways are lush and a delight to to play off.Set right in the heart of Birmingham its a hidden gem,a must play.
