18 hole heathland course, 5526 yards Par 69 SSS 67 - white tees, with practice ground.

The New Forest Golf Club is a very picturesque heathland course situated at Lyndhurst on the A35 in the heart of the forest between Ashurst and Lyndhurst, and only 6 miles from Southampton. The Course is laid out in a typical stretch of the New Forest, on high but flat ground near the village of Lyndhurst and is enclosed on three sides by forest. It is one of the oldest clubs in Hampshire and is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We function in an area where conservation of the unique playing environment is high on the list of our priorities. We seek to preserve the “special” feel of our long established course in a way which is sympathetic to both the wildlife and the surrounding countryside. We use only closely monitored fertilisers and herbicides on our greens to ensure the long-term sustainability of wildlife. A fine testing 18-holes and a popular venue for visitors.

Green Fees:

Green fees are available on request from the Pro Shop call Kevin Nolan, Golf Manager on 023 8028 3094 or visit our website. Special offers are also available most days.

Catering:

We are justifiably proud of our catering standards. We have a compact dining area, which has established a fine reputation for high quality traditional food. Our staff will be happy to prepare menus of a bespoke nature as well as the more conventional golf club cuisine. We use only fresh produce and most of our food is “home made.” Flexibility is the name of the game and whilst our restaurant, bar and society menus cover most eventualities we are only too pleased to consider your specific requests.

Visitors:

The New Forest Golf Club offers a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors. We are set in idyllic and beautiful forest heathland which portrays the typical tranquil ambience expected of the New Forest. Playing golf at our club offers a unique opportunity to experience our natural forest course. We are confident that you will enjoy such an experience and we would be most pleased to see you here. Visitors are welcome weekdays after 9am Saturdays after 10am and Sunday afternoons.
