C Driffield (United |Kingdom) 29/08/02
Played the course on 28/08/02. Since the last time it has improved greatly. The GUR that was prevailent the last time has gone and it was in a much better state.
Chris D. (UK) 03/05/02
Played the course on 02 May 2002. It was in a pretty poor state considering how far into the season. If the fairways weren't threadbare the grass was too long. The greens were in a poor state and looked like they'd suffered from a really harsh winter, which we haven't had?
Also, it seemed like about 10% of the course was GUR. I don't know what has happened to the course butit's a shame 'coz it is in a nice location, if a bit short (we (2) did it in 2hrs45mins).
For £15 green fees in the North East I'd expect something better.
