Well looked after course, great condition condsidering current hot weather (ball runs long with good drive). Great value membership fee's special offer at moment £345.00 5 day no joining fee..........well worth it if you live within 10 mile radius. Very flat course and quite forgiving although quite compact plenty of "fore's" shouted throughout our 18 holes so I would expect at busy periods a crash hat might be preferable to a baseball cap!!
Give it a go, I thought it was splendid, though watch out for the very strange signs on most tee's
"no practise swings allowed"

An ok course, Not very exciting or thrilling but good for a weekday afternoon. 7th Par 3 till 12th Par 3 are best run of holes, otherwise as Arnold Parmer once said, "Its simply a course to hit it long go and find it then hit it long again" Can be a bit windy.

Reasonable value for money with a "2for1" voucher and the locals were very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure where a previous writer gets his impression of a "bit up and down" as it goes back and forth across a large field for the first 9 holes and then presents little problem for the competent golfer. I'm not sure that I would pay the full green fee although it's a lot better than shopping.

Played early on Saturday 24th April 2004 and dew was still on greens so a little slow. Course is in good shape & only 1 temp green in play. Found the variety of holes a good challenge and found the members attitude friandly and welcoming. Bunkers were very flat and sand compressed and very wet with a big puddle in the middle of one. Offers better value for money than some other course ofg similar nature in same vicinity - oh & I shot my best ever score!

Playing the course on the 8 july 2001 I found it to be in good condition, the fairways looked ok and the greens were nicely kept but a bit slow ,I thought. The course was a bit up n down apart from the dog leg left 9th. The 8th green has water guarding the front-left and left of the green. I enjoyed the course but some might not due to the many o.o.b. (farmer fields) close to the fairways.
I will definately be playing it again soon.
