Played here on a weekday afternoon ( £20 after 1 p.m ).Usually £26 but the friendly pro let us go for the above price due to the lateish start.

Nothing to get too excited about here on this undulating parkland course.

The course doesn't seem to drain very well .The rough was muddy & wormcasty & the fairways had problem areas too. There were a fair number of G.U.R areas dotted around .

Slightly unusual hole layout in that there are only 3 par 3s & the first one isn't until the 8th & the last one is the 12th . The better ,more attractive holes are on the back 9 & the last 6 holes make for a demanding finish.

The greens putted well & it seemed like quite a friendly,welcoming club.
