Played this course for the first time and the last! The course is a joke. You end up walking more than you play the course. With the hills and sheer drops you havn't got any idea where the greens are and when you get on them it's a lottery where your put goes as they are in a bad way. The course starts off really well looks and plays well after that that's where the joke happens.
Sorry Prestwich you where a big let down>

This course will always hold a special place in my heart, as I scored my first-ever hole-in-one at #11 on 25-July-2001.
The management and staff were very friendly and the course is in fine condition.
Visitors should be very aware of the local rules before playing, as several fairways criss-cross. Be prepared to yield to players on adajacent holes.
Holes 3 through 6 might be the most challenging four-hole stretch I played in the UK. Don't be deceived my the 210-yard directional marker on No. 3. This hole is straight uphill, so a 250-yard shot is recommended. Anything short of the crest of the hill is likely to roll back into the rough.
Holes 4 through 6 are par-threes that play 210 to 225 yards from the yellow tees. Unless you hit a wood very straight, I'd advise taking a long iron, even if it means laying up short of the green. There is a lot of trouble lurking around and behind the greens.
I want to thank Dave Morris for the opportunity to play Prestwich and wish him a very happy retirement!
