Queens Park Golf Course Player Reports

i am 18 years old and i started playing golf about 3 months ago. The first course that i went to was Alvaston Hall. i have played at queens park quite a few times now and i find the course very good for beginers and the greens are well kept. The fairways could be a little better kept and closed off from people walking and walking ther dog's through it. But all in all it is a good course. Liam.

I played Queenspark gc in july 2002.Even though it lacks yardage its a most enjoyable track that is challenging and can catch even the most experienced golfer out.The first 4 holes beckon you to try and drive the greens while hiding the trouble that awaits a wayward drive till it's too late. Then a par 3 that you dont want a pushed shot on followed bye couple of interesting par 4's the 2nd of which could well make a par 5 with an approach that turns good shots into a hedge and O/B.The 8th is short par 3 but is one club longer than its appearance. The 9th is a par 4 of average length teeing off over a large crater to an ever narrowing fairway for the longer drivers to a well guarded green. Then its back round again hoping to better the first 9.The clubhouse is rather small and the menu is more greasy spoon than golf club, which did'nt matter as i was informed that i was too late to eat(2.35pm)i was offered a hot pie or cold sandwich. So would advise anyone playing here to eat first then play or travel 1/2 a mile back back towards the A530 where a good meal at the Farmhouse inn can be had(i recommend the coronation chicken).
My verdict on the Queenspark gc is great little course but the clubhouse needs sorting so come on committee men

Crewe is an excellent 9-hole course for beginers whilst remaining a fair challenge for the more esperienced (A good course for confidence building ?!?). The greens are kept in good condition. Value for money and only 2mins walk from my cousins house (BONUS)!!!
