Played here in an open event this week. What a superb course, the greens were the best we have seen this year, very true and being large, plenty of scope for pin placements. Some of the tees were rather bereft of grass, but we were told this should be a temporary problem, but they were still flat and in the main in a safe position. Some of the 150 yard markers were difficult to spot and if we hadn’t of been playing with a member we might have had the odd search for the next tee, so a course planner would be worth buying.

The club house was compact but very welcoming, and the food was superb. Every one we met was very friendly and took the time to chat, this is a course on the “must play again list” .

I played a club match here recently and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at the condition and the standard of the facilities...

Locally, little is known about this lovely little course but it is certainly a course I will be visiting again!!

Some very testing and intimidating tee shots all over the course make for a round of golf that should be concentrated on!!

Greens were very good, as were the fairways, rough, bunkers and tee boxes...

Pay it a visit, you wont be disappointed!
